Sadness

So, with my busy schedule and many others, Marvel May has crashed and burned. We kept it up for a good two weeks, but you can't always do it. I was hoping to avoid that. Well, as of June, there will be now theme! This will just be a speed art thing. Put up whenever! Do what ever art you want with in the speed and that works! I'll change the banner as soon as I can and we'll move past this defeat!

I was making normal progress until I had no idea how to start the cape . Well I ended up having to build it in maya. I had a great time , lets hope this guy gets a movie : 3 .

Carnage

Originally I wasn't thinking of doing any Symbiotes, but i figured with everyone else doing one I would try my hand at it. Carnage is a 58 minute speed sculpt. Didn't come out perfect, but I've not done a sculpt in a few days and it was kind of a warm up for me this morning to start a Mini Challenge I've been putting off. ^_^

P.s. I decided to put up my spider man speed sculpt video. Why the hell not? Eventually I'll look back and laugh, but for now, lets laugh right now. I need to improve for sure.

BlackWidow

So, I tried Black Widow for the wife. I will not be doing timed speed sculpts at school anymore. i think it ranged the 3 hours with the way things were going on it so I'm not thrilled and I had to stop a lot and do my job lol so here is my Black Widow. I may do another sculpt today.

Still not perfect, but I'll move on now. I really need to get the sculpting done in time to spend more time on the textures. I'll get this down!

Two hours, little longer than I would have liked, but meh. I started in Maya, brought it to Zbrush. It was mixed with helping students so I don't feel too bad.

Amazing Spider-Man

So, this took me about 2 hours and 40 minutes but was fun. I'm looking to be faster even more. I'm not super thrilled with it but it will do. I'll have a recording of everything, just not posting it till it's worth posting. If you want to see my horrible work flow, just ask I'll try to mail it to you :D But it's rubish. This is why I'm trying to do this daily!
 This is based on the promo of the new movie :D

A little Luke Cage and Magneto

 

Luke cage was done in about  1 hour and 40 minutes. I'm pleased with him.

 



My first attempt at Magento. I recorded this one, but I'm not happy at all with him. i tried more then I should have, and I'm only posting this because I'm looking to improve and be able to laugh at this in the future. He was 2 hours 10 minutes.

P.S. Magneto is upset because his arms are gone.
